Chrome Bookmarks not working

Version 1.1.6 of ChromePlugin and version 1.1.3 (4007) of QuickSilver this:

Dec 18 14:29:00 Quicksilver[441]: An error ocurred while scanning "Chrome Bookmarks": *** -[__NSArrayM insertObject:atIndex:]: object cannot be nil

This unfortunately does not say where the error occurs. Is there anything else in the logs regarding this, or maybe a crash log from QS?

I don't find anything else but this:

One of the two will be used. Which one is undefined.

The Chrome bookmarks appears empty. QuickSilver doesn't index the Chrome bookmarks at all.

Unfortunately that does not help me. I suspect that something has changed in the bookmarks file format, or there might be something I missed checking for missing values.

I'll take a look at it and see if I can find something, but it might be hard since I don't have this problem myself. Also, I'm going on holiday so it's going to be a while before I can look at it.

@lparikka Sorry I haven't come around to look at this until now, but I think I might have something that works for you. Please test this debug version of the plugin: http://cl.ly/1S0p2o3S2O33

Just extract the zip file, and doubleclick the GoogleChrome.qsplugin file. Quicksilver will ask you if you want to install it, and then relaunch.

Let me know if the debug version works for you. If it does, I'll update the plugin properly and send it to the QS devs.

Is there any possibility of you sending me your bookmarks file? The plugin loads the file ~/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Bookmarks, and it would really help me if I could use it to debug this issue. I understand if you consider it private, though so it's up to you if you want to give me the file.

I encountered the same problem.
After checking my chrome folder, I found the Default profile folder does not exist.
So I create a symbolic link named Default to target profile folder then bookmarks could be scanned.
